No her consequences were warranted. The malice comes from her clearly stating “I’m gonna tell them that there is an African American man threatening my life” to send the message that if the cops come they’ll fucking kill you. I'm far from a leftist and I think the response was fine. She attempted to invoke coercive State violence that she had asymmetric access to in response to a benevolent civil request. The consequences for this unnecessary invocation of violence were then settled civilly between private parties without an additional invocation of the State.
Actual violence was converted to mere reputational violence, that feels like a functional social mechanism to me.

FYI total aside but I've learned just how disproportionately men are treated: unarmed men are shot at 7 times the rate unarmed women are shot (4x the rate even if not fleeing). Men with toy guns are shot at 5x the rate women with toy guns are shot.

Skaters destroy public property, like it or not, that's what we do 90% of the time so I understand people calling police. But I've had people call the police on us, and while talking to the cops, the Karen's only look/refer to my mexican and black friends. The rest of us were obviously still complicit in our actions, but most of the time the Karen's focused their attention on the minorities of the group.
