I have had quite the issue recently and it all comes down to my wife's career and my own.
My wife is working as a broker in residential real estate and she makes some money and works with a more experienced broker. The biggest issues is she can't really do her job somewhere else and I only see my career going to Chicago/NYC/SV. My wife is a nurse but she hates it and honestly shouldn't be practicing medicine in any capacity.
How do you deal with these kinds of problems it seems like an impossible situation to be honest. If I leave the Boston area my wife will end up bored and resenting me or vice versa. The main difference is I will be working no matter what where as she won't.
Has anyone had to deal with a problem like this? Is there any good solution?
