Anybody not feeling like quitting if they don't get their vacation?
My employer's running very lean which means I won't be able to take more than a full week of vacation if even that. It makes me want to quit. Two weeks are important for me because I intend to fly oversees and can't afford two sets of flight, and don't want to waste an additional 2 days of my life on an airplane.
I wish I could actually afford to do it. I'm exploring options now into potential apprenticeships or going to grad school. Who knows I might get fired before then. I'm not that great of an employee, partially because I didn't get trained properly. You think a place with high turnover would have nailed down training people by now.
Just quit and take a few weeks to regroup. You won't be able to recover from the resentment so find a new gig, give 3 weeks notice and go on vacation.
