@ERenthusiast Look on Craigslist shared listings, I browse just out of curiousity sometimes and some of the apartments are damn nice with what sounds like normal professional people. Definitely within the $2000 range too
You guys are correct. I did find a studio for this budget, but it is not in a place I like and not the type of building I want(old, walk-up, and no amenity). I figure sharing will get me a bigger and nicer place with my budget. Craigslist will be my last resort because I have heard many stories about apartment hunting in NYC on Craigslist.
