Anyone here invest in Art through Masterworks?

Anyone on here use Masterworks.io to invest in Art? I was listening to today's episode of the Animal Spirits podcast and they had the CEO on.

Seems like an intriguing idea. Basically you can buy fractional shares of art. Not sure how liquid the shares are or fees associated with it though. Obviously need to research more on my end.

Good podcast.. and it's definitely a booming space right now (fractional art/collectibles ownership as alts), I think those guys are heavily VC-backed too if not there's YieldStreet I've been eying putting in something for their RE stuff, but I saw they have an Art-backed loan/debt fund as well not sure if they're doing fractional ownership or if they're using your $ to acquire the art pieces and then securitizing it/issuing debt and you're entitled to your capital+interest from the pool of collateral.. haven't looked into it more
