App Development

Hey,

I had an idea for an iPhone app, and I looked into what it would take to develop it. I was curious is anyone had any experience doing this. How long would it take someone with extremely limited programming knowledge to pick up objective-c? And does anyone know if this is actually profitable, assuming my idea pans out, for a college kid designing the app alone?

Thanks

It's more about promoting the thing. Most apps are free and the ones that cost money need to be pushed by people in the industry, otherwise no one will ever hear of the thing.

You can pay developers to do it.

Learning Objective C means no pussy for you.

Haha doesn't seem worth it

You never know, if you're really in for it I'd go for a few programmers. I definitely wouldn't bother learning it myself, it wouldn't be possible in the short-term.
