Are these interns stupid to do this?
Currently interning at a Big 4 firm. This is my second summer interning here. I am the youngest intern their I just graduated from high school and to me it seems like their workplace maturity is way worst then last year.
They book meeting rooms for hours at a time to sit, talk and skive off.
When they book rooms they don't realise important meetings are going on and they are loud as hell.
HR has said they are the loudest bunch of interns they have had.
Is this a usual thing that interns at other firms tend to do or are these interns stupid?
How did you get an internship at a Big 4 before college even started? Like really?
I was doing a program and they asked if we would be interested in and internship because they were looking for interns. I said yes because this would have been the first job I had ever had. They didnt know I was still in my third year of high school but they decided to interview me and they gave me and the other boy an offer. My department like me I guess and they rehired me for this year. I would call it a once in a life time opportunity and were I live I feel as if I am in a good position and I am pretty far ahead of the other competition at my age. If I can get an internship every summer maybe at different places I will have about 6 summers of ntern experience by the time I graduate from University.
I've been reading posts here of peeps who are getting IB/PE internships in high school.

Yeah dude, in all honesty, I've been seeing posts about kids interning at Big 4 valuations practices DURING high school, or after high school before college. Is this legitimate? Like, are people genuinely getting internships this soon?
They are uber-connected to the industry if I had to guess.
But at what point does skill matter when you have connections? I mean most high school kids are complete dumbasses lmao so like how do these kids have the competence to perform in these roles?
They are having fun..
