Art Collection
Anybody here collect art for pure enjoyment? I was wondering what kind of art, who, how much time you spend looking for them, where, and the motivation behind collecting.

Outside of lofty goals of owning the Basquats, Rothkos, de Koonings, really into what I guess goes by 'low brow' (i.e. stuff you see in Juxtapoz/Hi Fructose), both because I enjoy it and at my point in life, it is reasonably affordable to get signed prints. Try to keep up with art openings in my city, though that can be difficult with these hours.
If I was in NYC I'd definitely keep up with whats going on in at the Chelsea art galleries.
Currently trying to amass a collection of KAWS Companion pieces.
I don't "collect", but I do have a staggering amount of art. Whenever I travel I try to pick up a piece from a local artist. I've been doing it since I was 16, so the collection has really grown. It's something I'm really proud of and it's a great reminder of my travels.
I've curated an impressive collection of desktop backgrounds.
