Asked out daughter of BB C-level executive (didn't know); freaking out

I'd been casually talking to this girl for a while. Not flirting or anything, just randomly talking to her. It was something like her starting 20% of the time and me 80%. I told her some stuff that I'd never want an employer to know; essentially I mentioned how I talked my way out of a DUI car crash. Look, I get what happened was bad. I was a stupid idiot and made a horrible mistake sophomore year. I got in an accident. Nobody was hurt. Police showed up, and they knew I was drunk. They we merciful enough to have taken me to the hospital (just because I was drunk; I was not injured) and didn't file anything serious. Had my license revoked until I turned 21 though, and the record was expunged.

So about a month ago I was super drunk and asked her out (I was drunk but would/have never made the driving mistake again). I wasn't suave about it either. I was completely blacked out and didn't even realize I asked her out until the next morning when I looked at my messages. I was so cringe, and I panicked and offered to pay her off (again, didn't know about her dad) to not say. Ultimately she was chill about it, and we left it at that.

Recently found out her dad is a C-level exec of a BB. It is a BB that my BB competes against arguable most often. Now I'm paranoid she'll say something, and I'll be fucked. I think I'm being paranoid because what girl would tell her dad about guys asking her out, but pls calm me down.

Why would you be fucked? Explain your thinking. Because right now you just sound like an idiot.

Cool name tho

I dunno man. I think I'm overthinking it. I can't be the first dumbass she's rejected and certainly won't be the last. I think I'm making something out of nothing. Plus the messages were on snapchat so were deleted.

Absolute BS! NEVER HAPPENED!!

Why would you be in trouble? Nothing is on your record and you asked a girl out. How are either of these things enough to get someone fired?

Dude you are bugging out you need to chill. There is legitimately no way you could get fired for this...

and don't treat her any differently now that you know who her dad is

pls calm me down.

WTF??? This isn't some group therapy session, son.

  1. Get your act together
  2. You seem to have an issue with alcohol. If you truly want help, then seek AA or some other sort of addiction help. Posting for "calm me" help isn't going to help the root cause of your fuck-ups.

How, in your head, were you thinking this would play out?

Girl: Hey dad! We spend so little time together I thought I would waste it by telling you a first year analyst at a bank you don't work for asked me out when he was drunk.

Dad: Oh wow. Which bank? If we compete against them on a random deal I'll definitely get involved with the pitch even though I don't usually and make sure the potential client knows that the first year analyst of my competitor got drunk one time.

Also, you tried to pay her off? You need therapy.
