Asking a girl out by text?

Sorry, another relationship post.

I'm wondering what you guys think about asking out a girl you know well by text. Is it acceptable or in-person the only way to go? I had a chance to ask someone out recently but I was in a hurry and now the next time I see her is in a week. Don't want to wait that long. What should I do?

There's this podcast called "Going Deep with Chad and JT," you might have seen their youtube videos from city council meetings and things like that, pretty funny stuff. On every podcast, people send in questions, about 2/3 of which are relationship-based and basically exactly the same as this. Just listen to anyone of them and then you'll get a better idea, but basically I'd advise to do it in person if you can.

it informally means the guy wants to ask the girl if he can ultimately smash her booty, but in a more polite, civilized way (when the boy asks the girl)
