Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone knows what's Barclays' Green Card rules for MBA graduate associates? Ex: starts GC application right away; x years after; after reaching a specific ranking, etc..
This might be completely wrong but there’s a possibility Barclay’s doesn’t sponsor the GC. Someone I networked with mentioned he moved from Barclays to CS because he said Barclays wasn’t sponsoring green cards.
I've heard of moving to CS being the play. I believe (at least at associate and up), it's not because Barclays doesn't sponsor, but rather most banks want you to spend x years with them before they sponsor. I believe market is 3-4 years so you'd get greencard sponsorship once you hit VP. CS is the one exception, I hear they sponsor right away when you lateral to them. Unsure if this is the case if you go to CS right out of B School

It's ad-hoc I believe, they definitely do selectively sponsor; would try contacting HR / recruiter.
