Best finance/econ textbooks?
I am coming from a humanities background and don't have the finance or econ background I'd like but want to read everything I can.
What are some of the best books or textbooks to check out? Particularly free ones available on Libgen.
You might want to get a more precise idea of what you want to read about; what do you want to learn?
For example, terms like DCM and ECM, I don't know much about markets in general or any of these common terms that get thrown around on here. If there's some good "Intro to Finance" kinda books. My biggest regret is that I always thought I was going to go to law school so studied a humanities degree rather than finance.

Order from basic to complex
For econ textbooks:
Mankiw's Principals of economics (This is one of the most popular courses at Harvard)
Mishkin's Money and Banking and financial markets
Spivak's Calculus (A primer on calculus)
Econometrics (Not sure what the best book is right now) YouTube would probably be a better source than a textbook.
Microeconomics with calculus by Hal Varian
Macroeconomics (Rudi Dornbusch's book)
Advance Macroeconomics - Romer (Graduate text)
Microeconomic Theory - Mas Colell (Graduate text)
Economics books:
Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell.
Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman
