Which program has the best rewards alongside beautiful properties? I’m a fairly light traveler and would fly domestic and international 50/50.

I'm a big Marriot Bonvoy fan. The Marriot network is huge and ranges from top-of-the-line brands for when you want to splash some cash to convenience cheap hotels like aloft and Residence Inn when you need a convenient airport hotel or a short stay. Also Bonvoy has great perks and you can use your points on experiences as well. Super nice that you can earn extra points on restaurants, food, & Uber.
Hyatt hands down. Consistent quality across the globe.
they have a smaller portfolio of luxury hotels than Marriot/Hilton right? slightly concerned about the global presence.
Yeah, Park Hyatt is the only consistently luxury line in their portfolio. There's also Grand Hyatt, but it's not consistent, for example look at Grand Hyatt Shanghai vs New York.
