Best linkedin ever

Alright, this is a simple competition. Please nominate the craziest publicly viewable linkedin that you have ever seen, in terms of accomplishments/achievements relative to the age of the individual.

I'm going to start off with this one: http://uk.linkedin.com/in/jansramek

Personally, I think that's a tough one to beat at the age of 23. Any contenders?

Jan Sramek is a pretty well documented freak of nature...

Anyone who describes themselves as "visionary" deserves a swift kick in the nuts. Visionaries are the rare few that are able to completely alter the world for large portions of the population due to their foresight. Trading FX at Goldman doesn't fall into this category.

Check mate.

Hmm, I'd say that one's a tie. Jan's is more showy and it seems like Jan has accomplished a lot more academically and in entrepreneurship, but this one is about as good as you get in terms of finance experience for a recent college grad.

In terms of sheer volume of accomplishments...imo Jan still can't be beat.

happypantsmcgee^Freshman internship at Rothschild....not a bad place to start

No. Senior year of high school internship.

Oh, nevermind what a bitch...haha thats insane

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford

Oh damn, that's pro. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a thread where Jan got slammed on here a while back :-p

It takes more than a smart kid to have cred like this. It takes a certain kind of upbringing, family connections, etc. These are like the LeBron James' of high finance.

Except you can't make it of out the ghetto into a high school internship at Rothschild

I actually cold-emailed Jan and had no idea who he was and he actually responded to me with "Have you read my book?"

LOL that's awesome. I'm pretty sure he was on here pimping out his book and a bunch of people jumped on him like "wtf is this kid doing trying to tell people what to do?"

Same here. That's really impressive whichever way you look at it. I mean the guy's resume reads like the "who's who" of finance... Really nice job by him, and I think there's something to be said about the fact that he had that drive and hunger to be successful coming from the backwoods of Europe, a town like Morava in the Czech Republic. I would like to meet him and see what he's really like in person, have a gut feeling of that might be like, but would still welcome the opportunity to meet him.

everythingsucksHey Eamon, can you post your resume again? Lol

I have a couple projects I'm working on, but once I get those up I'll repost my resume with updates.

My Dad's friend Mike is thinking of stepping down as Mayor and throwing his hat in the ring for 2012, I'm hoping to be his national campaign manager. I suppose we'll just have to see.

manuel is from no well connected background. Look at his profile its a need based scholarship. Good guy.

"Sramek describes growing up in a one-room house in Moravia in a village of 1,000 people. His father, a mechanic, and his mother, a schoolteacher, encouraged him to study at an early age, and Sramek started his first company, a jobs site for IT professionals, at 13. In 2003, he won a scholarship from George Soros's Open Society foundation to Cambridge. Later, he transferred to the London School of Economics to focus on finance."

yea... doesn't sound very connected to me. But if you know that you want to be a goldman trader, make millions to engage in educational philanthropy in middle school, it's easier to focus your efforts, especially compared to those kids that don't discover finance until sophomore year of college. You don't see many runts looking for BB front office internships in HS so the pool of competitors is much smaller. With that said, this guys is still a freak on paper would love to get a drink with him and see what kind of animal he is.
