Best Personal Finance tracker?
Hey everyone,
I want to start to track my expenses and investment a bit more accurately and I was wondering if anyone has some recommendation for making a database/use something that already exists/something else.
In particular, I am not too concerned with budgeting but more with tracking investments and savings goals.
Thank you!!
Excel
Beat me to it. +1
any advice how to structure it? what are your main advice?
I dunno, like an income statement? You're in IB figure it out lol
I'd have to agree with Excel being the best. I'm sure you can find good templates online for a budget/expense tracker. If not, good practice building it out yourself.
I have an excel tracker that I feed info into from Mint. Tracks credit cards, bank statements, and brokerage accounts.
could you describe how you have it laid out?
In Mint I set budgets for each category food, rent, bar, etc. Then take the projected/budgeted per category vs actual in my excel sheet. It’s running off my control tab which shows the base budget and projected return/interest for each credit card/portfolio. It’s basically a model for my personal life.
