Have a friend who pays for parking right off the subway in Brooklyn. Seems like a pain, but he says it’s worth it
Either the East River or near a train station in NJ.
There’s a municipal parking lot downtown near Chinatown (?) Blanking on where it is but I remember it being well protected with several levels and it was the cheapest option.
