Cuz he found the damn thing and made it the death star (without the stupid plot flaw). Nadella has been great at growing the company but Billy still deserves the lion's share imo.

"Henri Poincaré" I give Bezos the edge for having planned Amazon so well from the start.

People always say things like this with hindsight. He told his early investors it was a 70% change to go bankrupt. Now that said Bezos has always had a longer term vision and was confident the entire way building and investing heavily in AWS.

Nadella has been one of the best things to happen to Microsoft.

Bezos till his marriage debacle. I thought he had his cock under control...looks like the moron was under control of his cock.

I have to go with this one. We'll see how that ends up, but if you build an empire of that level and end up losing a significant share because you couldn't control your wee wee, well...

He's still a terrific enterpreneur.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

i can understand if mackenzie wasn't cutting it for him anymore and he wanted to dabble...but to have an actual long-term relationship with Sanchez...what is he thinking? look at her history...she is a f**k buddy, nothing else.

Bill.

He won the long game. Not just in business, but the game of life. Empire. Kids. Family. MARRIAGE. Legacy...

...respect.

Also, Jeff's wife helped him build his company. Not a knock on brilliant women, which she clearly is...but Bill built on his own. Then EXPANDED the legacy with his wife.

Not sure what the next 18 months looks like for Jeff, balance-wise. Let's see how the divorce effects his piece of mind and the respect of his peers.

Bill for sure. I'm not saying Amazon is a cult, but if Bezos were all of a sudden to disappear, Amazon would likely crash into the ground. I personally they have almost too many things going for one person to be able to control all of it. If Gates were to vanish, Microsoft would be still standing, and there's a pretty good chance the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will still be too. Plus, Bill seems like such a nice guy in all the videos. Not sure I can say the same about Bezos...

I do not believe Buffett is wrong on this. Gates focused on software innovation and at the time one of the best in the world at it. Bezos is in a much, much wider range of business and is bent on being ruthless AF in his mission to go as far as possible.

We'll see if the "jack of all trades" approach works long-term. Don't forget, without AWS amazon is very unprofitable.
