The series 7 exam is not like the CFA exams in which you need to give up your life to succeed. I sacrificed my social life to pass the CFA exams but not for the series 7. You are not going to study all day every day to prepare for the series 7 exam. I see no reason why you could not have a normal social life on weekends while also studying for the series 7.

I think you think you need to manage your time a little better. Split the days on weekends with half of the time studying. You are probably better off going to a library or other less distracting place to study.
