Buying a new laptop. Gaming/work.
I’m thinking of getting the HP Omen 15 with the AMD chips. You guys think this would be a good balance for gaming and work? Any other recommendations?

Honestly, if you're going to spend that much on a laptop, you might as well build your own PC. It will run games better, and be better for work IMO. Unless your key concern is being able to go places with it hahaha.
Yea my concern is being able to pick it up and take it anywhere that’s why I prefer a laptop.
Gotcha, then I can't say much in terms of what to get. The only thing I can tell you is to NOT get a Razer laptop lmao, mine stopped working after about 1 year...
would recommend getting an MSi if you want to seriously game, best value imo. check costco deals, they can be sometimes unbeatable. only issue is that gaming laptops in general have very poor battery life and you’ll have to be pretty much constantly plugged in.
