For dark/filthy jokes I think a sense of humor can be acquired. The more you hear something/joke about a concept the less it seems taboo and the more likely you are to find some humor about it. Clearly it depends on how personal some thing are to you e.g. rape jokes to rape victims etc. If you can think of a topic that isn't too taboo for you, I think you could start there and see how those types of jokes make you feel.
