Chicken Sandwich Battle

Bojangles has released the $3.99 chicken sandwich. KFC has entered the battle. There is also Popeyes, Wendy’s, Raising Canes, Chick-Fil-A, Church’s, Burger King, McDonalds, and Zaxbys.  There may be others as well. Which is your favorite?

I’m impartial to the OG Chick Fil A. I thought Popeye’s was alright, but my mom would always take me for some nugs/chicken sando at CFA in the mall food court growing up and it’s just a classic to my tastebuds and memories of childhood.

If I have the time though, love me some Nashville hot chicken sandwiches (most places have a longer wait compared to the fast food joints). Howlin Rays in Los Angeles my GF and I showed up 45 minutes before they opened on a Saturday (which was 10am) and they was already a line lol, ended up getting awaited at 11:15am. Have also Tried Hattie Bs in Atlanta. Crank up that hotness level!

So, basically you’re ‘partial’ to CFA, not impartial.

They used to have a spicy version of that but I think they stopped making them.

I like the smoked salmon+cottage cheese I make.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Yeah Bojangles is good. I like their Cajun filet biscuits too.

Here's the deal: I love Bojangles more than just about anybody, but I never go because I have a thing against going to restaurants when nobody else goes there. Businesses are their own kind of democracy; you have to get out and vote with dollars. I need my Bojangles folks to get out there and buy some chicken. The restaurants are just always deserted when I go.

If you want disgusting, look up "popeyes wicked chicken" and go into image search. Holy cow, how is there any chicken there? That's all breading. You'd get bludgeoned with a Lodge cast iron skillet if you tried to call that fried chicken in my down home household. Good night! What a disgrace!

Just me or something happen with the Chick-fil-A classic chicken sandwich? They don't taste consistent anymore the last three times I've tried em.

Underrated aspect of Chick-fil-A: They somehow manage to staff their restaurants with pleasant people who have all of their teeth and aren't on meth.

Yeah CFA employees are always very happy. Managers seem good. They have a good employee culture there and also have college scholarship programs and stuff.

They're also all like 16 at almost all of the ones I've been to.

The Dilemma:

Make an Arby's Boys callback, or inform the WSO community that the Whataburger HBCB is the pinnacle of chicken sandwichcraft...

Help plz

I've had this a couple years ago but I forgot what it was like, need to try it out again.

I think this is a classic and always reliable. But, I haven’t tried Bojangles, Church’s, or Popeye’s and just wonder if they are better.
