Chipotle gets very old if I have it more than once a week (which only happens in the summer). Outside of the summer Ill have it once every 4-5 weeks. And I don't wanna know what carnitas are. I prefer to play it safe.

They always have like 6 different protein options, and I'm like... there aren't event that many different types of animals. But I'm about to go get Chipotle after I get a bit more drunk, so I'm looking for suggestions.
"Mr. Perkins poses an extreme risk to the market when drunk."
Love chipotle. While there are 20 people in line I stroll in and pick up my lunch at the window. The workers there know me so they load up on veggies and protein. I usually get the salad or rice bowl with chicken (double meat), 5 times a week. I regret nothing.
This reminds me of the fact that a former camp counselor (the guys who make like 10 bucks an hour) of mine when I was in elementary school invested heavily in Chipotle like 10 years ago. I ran into him at, oddly enough, a Chipotle a few months back. He made about $2m off of the investment, I asked what motivated him to invest and he said "I had it when I was on vacation and I liked it, so I invested." - sounded like something out of a comedy!

I enjoy yelling at workers to put more beans and veggies on. It's akin to Subway.
I have it like twice a week, same thing every time and it never gets old. The line in midtown stretches out the door and down like 2 shops and I still wait.
Chicken burrito with white rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes. Then some chips and guacamole to munch on the rest of the day. Use the guacamole for the burrito too.

Haha they always short-change me if I order them double meat at the counter by giving me a lazy half-scoop. Can't deal with that.
he would have had to invest ~$200,000 in the stock to make $2M...
I can't attest to the validity of his claim, maybe his parents had left him money. It was also slightly longer than 10 years ago, it was closer to 13 years.
I usually get the burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken, + fajita veggies (pro-tip, the veggies don't cost extra...maybe this is common knowledge but I didn't realize this until a month or so in). The bowl is just as filling and it makes me feel somewhat healthy because I'm not eating a tortilla filled with simple carbs.
You guys wanna hear a funny story?
When I was like 17, I worked as a baker at Cosi, the Panera Bread competitor.
The "whole wheat" bread consists of white bread that I had churned half a pound of brown sugar and random seeds into.

Cosi is garbage. Wish it went under already.
Why do you say so? I enjoyed the food. It's probably the only place I've worked where I'd still eat today.

It's overpriced and isn't half as good as Panera. The only good thing I had there was the flatbread pizzas.
$300. Unless it can expand internationally, growth will subside and won't be able to sustain current valuation levels.
Yeah but the multiple isn't really that bad now that I take a look at it these days. I remember the forward P/E used to be insane. 30-31 for a company growing as fast as CMG isn't that unreasonable...
Aren't there more business lines than just the Chipotle brand too?
Burrito with carnitas, brown rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, a little sour cream and cheese. Then I pour a healthy amount of the smoked chipotle hot sauce while eating it.
People say get the burrito bowl because you get more food. While correct, this is a bad idea. The tortilla is essential to making the burrito taste wholesome. Ergo, I always go for a chicken or steak burrito with pinto beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, mild salsa, and fajita vegetables.
I understand you can get the tortilla on the side, but good luck trying to wrap that thing.

21x EBITDA for restaurant chain is quite high. Agree that P/E isn't that astronomical, but from a cash flow standpoint, I'd say it is overvalued unless growth is maintained.
Moe's is the worst, most awful tasting burrito/taco I have ever taste in my life. Their chicken has no flavor, their tortillas taste awful, their vegetables are stale, their chips are dry and sour, and their queso is vastly inferior to Qdoba's.
Burrito bowl: half a scoop of brown rice, no beans, definitely fajitas if it looks like more peppers to onion ratio during the moment, double chicken. Add two scoops of spicy salsa and two scoops of corn (preferably the white corn) then a sprinkle of cheese and BOOM.
Small Trick for you double meat junkies - I know that none of us like paying for that extra protein that we all think we should be given freely if wanted, but try adding some lettuce on top of your bowl at the very end. Sometimes they forget about the double because they see so much damn lettuce in their face.... This trick also works really well if you get GUAC then ask for lettuce.
Chiming in for the vegetarians here: I didn't know until, like, March that you get free guac if you don't order any meat.
I order a burrito bowl with the tortilla on the side, extra sauteed veggies, black beans (pinto are cooked with bacon), sour cream, guac, hot, mild and corn salsa, extra lettuce and tomato. Mix all that shit up in the bowl and then load it up onto the tortilla. I find that if you just have them make it up in the burrito, it's not well-mixed and you wind up with some bites being all sour cream and other bites being strictly bean. Goodbye, munchies; hello couch lock.
I remember being in front of one guy who felt the need to supplement his order with Spanish words and phrases every now and then (For example, saying "mas' instead of "more, please" and pollo" instead of "chicken", and saying "gracias" every few seconds.)
I have a feeling that most Americans get their Spanish from the menus at these Mexican/Southwest restaurants.

I've been trying to triangulate the best combination of inputs for years. Here is my latest favorite, which is a bit contrarian.
Brown rice, black beans, chicken, tomatoes, corn, guacamole. Nothing else.
Thoughts?
Solid choice man, I'll try it out next time I go for lunch. I usually go with:
Brown rice (half portion if I'm not working out), black beans, chicken X2, extra fajita veggies, medium salsa, dat guac, finish with with some lettuce on top
Brown rice
Black and pinto beans
Chicken (or half chicken half steak if you're feeling ambitious)
Corn
Pico
All salsas
Cheese
Guac
Lettuce
Tortilla on the side
Always with the lid so you can shake it up
Full disclosure, idc about being healthy., I'm below 30, and my metabolism is killer so I don't gain weight anyway. With that said.....
DOUBLE MEAT, Steak and chicken
EXTRA WHITE RICE
Bellpeppers and onion, a liberal amount
Medium and mild salsa
cheese
Sour cream (optional)
Lettuce (optional)
Corn (optional)
3 small tortillas on the side
Brown rice
No beans
Peppers and onions
Chicken
Pico de gallo
Red salsa (when I'm not in the mood for spicy, I'll replace this with sour cream)
Cheese
Lettuce
It's not the company. It's the credibility. My credibility. I can't just sit on the bench and let other people play the game. Not my game. Not with their rules. - Henry Kravis, Barbarians at the Gate
Bowl: brown rice, black beans, no fajitas, mild, medium & hot sauce, corn, cheese, guac. Best chipotle I've been to is on New Montgomery in San Francisco.
I can't believe I was in and out of the Chipotle near 56th & 7th in a 1/3rd of the time it takes to get through the Chipotle at my school at the same time...and the line was at the door!
Brown Rice
BOTH Beans
Fajita Veggies
Chicken (although an occasional switch is tolerated)
Pico
Corn Salsa
Light Sour Cream (none is also acceptable)
Cheese
Guac
Lettuce
Top it with some of the Chipotle Tabasco
Other than switching out meats, no reason to deviate from this order. the one caveat is if you're trying to avoid rice their salad isn't half bad either.
Always burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. Double meat always or at least 1/2 and 1/2 to try and maximize the amount received. The worst people are the ones who get no meat. Why are you at Chipotle?
If they have rolled out sofritas in your neck of the woods, get that instead of beans. Really kicks the flavors up an extra bold step. My only other requirement for great Chipotle is an outrageous amount of Chipotle tabasco - it is the killer app.
That said:
brown rice
Sofritas
chicken (or half chix half steak if the steak isn't overdone)
pico
green salsa
corn (possibly double if they bone you on the first scoop)
cheese
guac
chipotle tabasco

Chipotle sucks. They don't even have cheese dip, nothing beats cheese dip and chips when you get the munchies....NOTHING
I love this place.
I walked into the one at 129 West 48th yesterday, did Namaste, prostrated myself on the floor and thanked them for their delicious food.
I've never been to chipotle when there's been 50 ppl on line. Love the place, but that's enough to have stopped me from going anymore.
Cheese dip is the reason Qdoba will always beat Chipotle.
If you want to avoid lines, order online and pick up in store.
However I don't eat Chipotle more than twice a week, it gets old quickly.
Love chipotle. While there are 20 people in line I stroll in and pick up my lunch at the window. The workers there know me so they load up on veggies and protein. I usually get the salad or rice bowl with chicken (double meat), 5 times a week. I regret nothing.
Naya express is similar to Chipotle

I passed on a hunch to buy chipotle years ago.... shoulda listened to myself.

Bowl with steak, white rice, black bean, hot and mild salsa overload with cheese and sour cream. No veggies, even tomatoes.
Do you not eat vegetables?
Just not with my chipotle.
Moe's. They have ground beef, bacon, sauteed mushrooms and onions, DAT QUESO, plus free chips and salsa with every burrito.
Moe's is the worst, most awful tasting burrito/taco I have ever taste in my life. Their chicken has no flavor, their tortillas taste awful, their vegetables are stale, their chips are dry and sour, and their queso is vastly inferior to Qdoba's.
Moe's is unquestionably a step beneath Chipotle and Qdoba. It's only really worth it for the unlimited chips and salsa.

Naya Express is fucking amazing. I'm there at least once a week.
Quesorito. You're welcome.
I also enjoy California Tortilla when I get the chance such as in the airport in Washington DC.
No better than Moe's.

Fills me up just enough, adding rice or tortillas is overkill
Salad Black Beans Peppers Chicken Mild Salsa Corn Little Sour Cream Little Cheese
Srs? One double meat burrito doesn't even fill me up, usually have to get two burritos to accomplish that.
pinto beans master race also, how are you all so rich that you can afford non chicken meats???
Barabacoa, double meat White rice Peppers & onions Cheese Sour Cream Guac
That's how you make the buy side
This guy gets it.
Steak, double meat Brown rice Peppers Cheese Hot salsa
HHHNNNNGGGGG UNLIMITED GAINS
I've been going double beans lately, makes the rice/beans ratio better
pair whatever you get with a chocolate milk
Brown rice Black and pinto beans Chicken (or half chicken half steak if you're feeling ambitious) Corn Pico All salsas Cheese Guac Lettuce Tortilla on the side Always with the lid so you can shake it up
Full disclosure, idc about being healthy., I'm below 30, and my metabolism is killer so I don't gain weight anyway. With that said.....
DOUBLE MEAT, Steak and chicken EXTRA WHITE RICE Bellpeppers and onion, a liberal amount Medium and mild salsa cheese Sour cream (optional) Lettuce (optional) Corn (optional) 3 small tortillas on the side
Getting small tortillas on the side is such a good idea. I think I'm going to do this exact thing tonight.
Brown Rice, No Beans, Carnitas, Mild/Medium Salsa, Cheese, Sour Cream, Corn, and Guac! So good.
Burrito Bowl White rice (brown is weak) Black beans DOUBLE chicken (most important element) Mild salsa Cheese Guac or no guac depending on the day
man i miss chipotle
Brown rice Pinto beans (or no beans) Chicken (or steak) Hot salsa Cheese Corn Lettuce Sour cream
Brown rice No beans Peppers and onions Chicken Pico de gallo Red salsa (when I'm not in the mood for spicy, I'll replace this with sour cream) Cheese Lettuce
Brown rice Black beans Double chicken Fajita veggies Pico & medium sauce Lettuce

EDIT: that calculator is pretty dope
Corn completely fucks the whole thing up. Other than that, no concerns
That's pretty harsh...I have mixed feelings about corn. I think it pairs reasonably well with the guacamole.
double chicken, brown rice, lettuce
Double brown rice Black Beans Fajita Double Chicken Hot Salsa Corn Cheese Profit
http://www.thrillist.com/eat/nation/the-chipotle-of-pizza-pizzeria-loca…
I just had these pants drycleaned too.
I typically get a burrito and tell them to go easy on the fillings or I get crunchy tacos. In terms of my ideal bowl, here's what I do:
White Rice Half Chicken / Half Carnitas Hot salsa Cheese Guac Corn (optional)
Literally going to get this tonight with a side of soft taco tortillas. Fired the fuck up!
White Rice Black Beans Double Steak Sour Cream Cheese Hot and Medium Salsa or whatever (basically all the salsas minus corn one)
One scoop of brown rice, pinto beans, peppers and onions, carnitas, guac, sour cream, cheese, medium salsa, CHIPOTLE TABASCO FTW, corn
half brown/half white rice Black beans Chicken Hot Sauce Cheese Sour Cream Guac little lettuce
Mix it as a dip for chips
Also.. http://hackthemenu.com/chipotle/secret-menu/
FRESH CILANTRO!?!?
mind = blown
I tried ordering a quesarito once. They told me they couldn't do it for me because there were too many people in line behind me. Disappointing...
You should have caused a scene. This is America.
No Rice Both Beans Peppers and Onions Steak or Chicken Pico de gallo Corn Spicy Salsa Guac Fresh cilantro
No sour cream or cheese cause im not down with intestinal blockages.
My pick:
Brown Rice Peppers and Onions Pinto Beans Chicken (or 1/2 Chicken, 1/2 Barbacoa) Mild Salsa (sometimes hot if I'm feeling risqué) Cheese Lettuce Sour Cream Guac (absolutely necessary)
Double meat... obviously required.
The pro trick is walking in at 9PM and ordering double meat. Then convince the guy to empty the remainder of the pan into your bowl.
Bowl all day : 1/4 Rice Double Black Beans Double Pork Double Fajita Veg Pico Medium Salsa Corn Sour Cream Lettuce
Bowl: brown rice, black beans, no fajitas, mild, medium & hot sauce, corn, cheese, guac. Best chipotle I've been to is on New Montgomery in San Francisco.
2 portions of Brown Rice Black Beans 2 portions of Veggies 2 portions of Hot Salsa Sour Cream Cheese Lettuce
Chicken just depends on the day.
Half Scoop White Rice Black Beans Double Fajita Veggies Half Chicken Half Steak Half Scoop Pico Double Scoop Corn Salsa Sour Cream
Done.
I can't believe I was in and out of the Chipotle near 56th & 7th in a 1/3rd of the time it takes to get through the Chipotle at my school at the same time...and the line was at the door!
If you're not placing your orders online and picking them up at the register you're a complete mongoloid.
Going Concern, that is my exact order!
Same as Subway. I want to get the best bang for my buck and maintain regularity with those veggies.
That said: Steak White rice Everything else
Many are close, but this is the perfect order:
Brown Rice BOTH Beans Fajita Veggies Chicken (although an occasional switch is tolerated) Pico Corn Salsa Light Sour Cream (none is also acceptable) Cheese Guac Lettuce Top it with some of the Chipotle Tabasco
Other than switching out meats, no reason to deviate from this order. the one caveat is if you're trying to avoid rice their salad isn't half bad either.
Love the lemon. I go with seltzer water though, Chipotle is one of the few places that consistently has that option on their drink machines
White rice. Chicken. Pinto beans. Mild and medium salsa. Corn. Extra cheese. Lettuce.
Douse it in Smoky Tabasco sauce.
Fire chef.
Chicken, pinto beans, white rice, hot salsa and pico, extra sour cream and cheese, lettuce and guac. never fails
Always burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. Double meat always or at least 1/2 and 1/2 to try and maximize the amount received. The worst people are the ones who get no meat. Why are you at Chipotle?
I have the winning combination:
Brown rice Lemons (most important part. Squeeze them everywhere) Black beans Chicken (preferably 2x) GUAC Corn Mild and Medium salsa
I couldn't control myself and ended up having Chipotle again for dinner today (!). Here's the combo I tried:
White Rice Black Beans Barbacoa Peppers and Onions Hot Salsa Cheese Fresh Cilantro Lots of Tobasco
Really fucking good. Might be my new favorite combo.
This is my go-to. I could eat it every day.
You guys are troopers. If I ate like that for lunch I would simply pass out, and I'm a big dude.
