Christmas is a stupid holiday

Gathering together with family and friends to eat food is great, but that’s the definition of literally every single holiday across the globe. American Christmas is a commercialistic dumpster fire with all the muppets running around to buy shit they don’t need with money they don’t have. And all the Christmas songs from the 1950s are annoying as fuck.

Outside of an expensive bottle of booze I plan to spend $50 on everybody this year.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
