Coronavirus Relief Bill and Dalai Lama
The newly released stimulus bill also includes a section outlining the reincarnation and succession of the Dalai Lama. What in the heck? Democrats and Republicans went back-and-forth for months, just to also include something like that? Is the urgency to send money to working class Americans and small American businesses not prioritized over a monk?
For a second I thought this was spam, but turns out this is actually real. Classic Pelosi with her “pass the bill to see what’s in it” approach.
Pelosi sucks but McConnell is going to pass this dumpster fire as well, why not mention him?

The reason it took so long is because Kermit would not even open it up for discussion for the longest time. It does sound bizarre that there it would include the Dalai Lama.
