Do people unironically watch CNBC still? Everything of theirs I've seen is trash boomer content presented by people who are either lying through their teeth or don't have a clue what the fuck they're talking about.

"If you don't have any enemies in life you have never stood up for anything" - Winston Churchill | "It's a testament to the sheer belligerence of the profession that people would rather argue about the 'risk-adjusted returns' of using inferior tooth cleaning methods." - kellycriterion

It wasn't live but its got to be that moron Cramer telling people that either Bear Sterns or Lehman, can't recall which, was a solid buy at like 5x where it ended up before bankruptcy.  Classic moment, not only that he still to this day claims he was right about that call.

Cramer just uses that show to talk his book (he's admitted it, look it up). If he's pimping out buying something, he's selling. And vice versa. There's a reason someone did a grad school thesis auditing his returns to the S&P returns (shocker, his show recs  were 3% behind). And there's a successful "inverse Cramer index" (or is that actually "trading with Cramer"?) with healthy returns and the only guidance there is do the opposite of what Cramer pitches on his show.

The poster formerly known as theAudiophile. Just turned up to 11, like the stereo.
