Dating rich kids with messed up parents

Would you or have you ever dated a really rich guy or girl who’s parents marriage is a train wreck? If so, how did it turn out? I have recently started going out with a girl who has had serious issues with her parents for the majority of her life. Last night she was telling me they married to combine family wealth and that she doesn’t think they ever loved each other. She goes to counseling and at this point seems to be super honest about the situation with herself. Fwiw I have known this girl for 5+ years and I believe her to be a good person otherwise I wouldn’t be going out with her. This is pretty new to me because I guess I was lucky enough to grow up in a relatively loving upper middle class family, but I have concerns about dating her given her family situation. Thoughts comments concerns welcome.
