Actually, probably 95% of these kids are high-school aged. The title of this post is incorrect. It should read "DC Caribbean Fest Brawl NEAR Howard University". The parade/fight took place on Georgia Ave. which borders the school. The event had nothing to do with the school or its students.

This was right near or on Georgia Ave. next to Howard University, too. It's an area that's still rather "hood," but it's a very major road that's a very short walk away from the gentrified, nightlife areas of DC. Crazy that it went on for that long in that area without cops coming by.
I went to the parade earlier in the day. It's always a shitshow and it doesn't surprise me to hear about this.
