My parents put me through 4 years of college. I never had to work in my life to sustain myself, besides over the weekends when I needed to make money to go out with my friends. My parents would provide for me but wouldn't give me money.What this story doesn't tell is how both of my parents are illegal immigrants who came to the USA looking for a better life with nothing but a backpack and a pair of shoes and built themselves up from the ground up. By no ways are my parents rich, but through budgeting, being financially responsible and working hard they we're able to give me the life they never had.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that your parents fucking suck and you’re just mad.

Amen Brotha, was working unpaid internships in my small town and built myself up. Hustled my way through college because my parents didn’t have any savings for me. Grew up middle-class, but nothing compared to some of these city-slickers who had everything handed to them on a silver plater. No hate, just a different mindset coming from the South.
