Haha @ the trade being blocked....

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

I don't think it will be for too long. Stupid trade if you ask me, giving up both Odom and Pau. Bad move. With Mike Brown as coach, I dont see how he's going to integrate both Kobe and CP3 (both who need the ball) into the offense. You better believe Kobe isnt going to be happy playing off the ball so much.

Knicks look set though. Heard Amare may have gotten shipped in a CP3 trade (before Laker one) so glad for him it didnt happen. I would have been super pissed if I was him.

I still dont see why they dont make a run for Steve Nash. Guy is still 4th best PG in the league (would take for shorter term over Westbrook).

I'm sure Stern's real reason for killing this is because he wants Paul in NYC so his precious Knicks can return to glory. Unfortunately for them, Mike Dantonio is still their coach, which will prevent them from ever winning an NBA championship. As an aside, the Rockets should be happy this didn't go through, not really sure what they were thinking on this trade.

Aside from getting an all star big in his prime? For a bunch of role players? And saving money so they can make a run at another FA?

Yeah they got nothing.

notaspammerYeah, this was one of the few NBA trades that I've seen that wasn't completely lopsided talent-wise. Interested to see the fallout from this. My bet is that the trade ends up going through after appeals

Things get pretty complicated when a team doesn't have an owner... What a disaster.

It has to go through. Otherwise, no one is trading for CP as it wont go through, judging from this instance. So he plays there this season and leaves bitter in the summer. NO get nothing. So stupid.

Anyone see Dan Gilbert's (Cavs owner) email:

So bitter still. Get over it man.
