Dell XPS 13 Intel 10th gen vs MacBook Air M1 for finance student

Which one do you think an upcoming finance student should buy? My budget is not a lot as I’m already taking debt for school. I’ve narrowed it down to basically three- HP spectre, dell xps 13 and MacBook Air m1. All almost similarly priced (+/- $150).

Just look up the Dave2D review for each of these and choose based on that. Still the best unbiased tech reviews.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

Long time Macbook user here. Macbook lost it’s utility after 2015 by removing the ports. The new keyboard is NOT FUN to type on. Upgrades or repair is too costly and your % of getting a faulty Macbook is way too high. I am still using my 2015 Macbook even my firm offers the new ones. And I would recommend a Lenovo as this is one of the best work machines I ever used in my past experiences of company supplied machines. XPS is cool but the utility of Lenovo is too good to pass on. Razer blades are good totoo.tootoorecommend

At the end of the day most finance/tech offices uses Microsoft operating system and softwares. So get used to the shortcuts and functions of using a Windows layout keyboard. Hope this helps :)

Thanks a lot for your reviews.

I haven’t used excel a lot yet but one thing I have to add is that I haven’t used windows since as far as I can remember. I’ve always used a Mac all my life except for a few classes in middle school. I don’t know how I’d like the transition

Macbooks are like Ferrari's. Beautifully crafted, you want to just lick them, insanely sexy, fast, expensive, but worth every penny
