Do Recruiters Respond to Thank You E-mails?

I emailed a recruiter a thank you e-mail. Maybe I included odd stuff in it. IDK.

During the interview the recruiter told me that they would send me a job description and that I should send them my resume so they can submit it to management.  In the e-mail I touched on the fact that I would be sending my resume but I just started a porject that I thought I could add so I'd send it in a few days. I didn't get a response and I have not received the job description the recruiter offered.

Also, the recruiter suggested that I add numbers to my job - which I won't because it might be proprietary info and a trick question to see if I divulge proprietary info.

Anyway, the recruiter never responded but I'm still going to send a resume.
