Do you ever give your coworker your personal social media accounts?

Hi,

I meet a lot of people, and I'm having a very hard time kind of creating boundaries between my personal life and work. Sometimes I'm asked for personal social media like Instagram. In IB in particular, do you ever give your coworker your personal social media accounts? I'm considering making multiple accounts.

bro its not like youre promoting your of on ig. Just put a lil pic of your car(if nice german car), friends(if they are presentable), maybe subtly put in the watch or jewelry and if you really want to, your girl(I wouldnt do this but some do), putting in a sibling especially if its a little sister is a great play aswell, father figure and all that.

it already is. sometimes i even follow people, then remove then as a follower.

If you aren't sending office depression memes to your coworkers, what are you even doing?

Seriously though, I have no idea what the issue would be with coworkers seeing my IG. I'm not posting on there daily or risky content like some sort of edgelord. It's pretty boring outside of travel.

Yes make a second IG. If your socials are very tame and you're just posting about travel and hobbies (because you're just chill easy going and that's what you're about) or if you're genuinely some midwit normie posting pictures of their dog and family and gatherings, then yes sharing your IG is fine. If you have an online persona, or your real self can be considered edgy or non-PC, I would avoid this. Keep a boundary. I don't have an IG altogether so I don't deal with this and just tell them I don't have one. But I do have other socials and I have no interest in sharing them with my coworkers. I'll still share memes I see from that platform but that's as far as I'd go.
