I think there aren't really good alternatives for Trump. Desanctis is good but he lacks the charisma and voice.
You need someone who can fight against the 24/7 attacks from the MSM, big tech, big coorperations etc.
Also the republicans better have their own infrastructure of social networks so they can spread the message because it probably will only get worse with the blacklisting of conservative voices, the banning of most right wing forums. Perhaps a sweep in 2022 can move them to change laws and reighn big tech in, but they didn't even do that when Trump was president, his biggest mistake in my opinion.
