Enemies

Obviously it's not good to have enemies at all, but do you just have those people that you get in petty passive aggressive email battles with or that sort of thing? I don't mean like mortal Obi-Wan vs Darth Vader kind of enemies, but like the silent but deadly kind. How has that worked out for you

Absolutely, in every part of my life so far. Making enemies in college, clubs, etc. has always motivated me to work harder for the satisfaction of besting them; having no qualms about crushing someone so absolutely makes for an incredible feeling of achievement and success when you do come out on top

To be honest, if you are good at anything some people are going to dislike you. Part of human nature as far as I have experienced.

SafariJoe, wins again!

Yeah everyone have. They will talk shit behind you. But they are behind you for a reason. Keep it up king

Some people are motivated by money, prestige, or power. My motivation for success is vengeance. I work in CRE and in my early years (I must have been 22 or 23) I was at a lunch with my boss and a broker. We were discussing the market and I made a question or comment about a the growth of a specific submarket. The broker said something to the effect of: "why don't you enjoy your lunch and let the adults discuss?". I never felt so disrespected and I will never forget that moment...the anger, embarrassment, and shame. I have made it my goal to excel in the industry to a point where I will eventually be a decision maker on an asset disposition. I will invite this broker and his team to pitch for our listing. I will relish the moment, sitting across from him in the conference room, where I can say "thanks for stopping by and spending so much time on this. Allow the adults to review and get back to you".

If you are a normal person, who wants a normal family, good job, clean community, no crime and good food, the liberals hate you, have declared war on you and will stop at nothing until your life is ruined. Act accordingly.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Yeah we all have enemies.

Given that I'm quite vengeful and vindictive, just undermined one enemy's business significantly, feels pretty good.

But I'm the kind who will smile and stay collected when someone crossed me, whilst plotting something to attack them in the future.

If I have a score to settle, it will come, it must come, and when it comes, I make sure the enemy suffer.

I hold grudge, and I always follow through with revenge plans.
