I'm sorry but I don't care anymore and neither should you. That was like the current thing of 2 years ago. Today we worship Zelensky. We were never scammed before after all.
Seeing Kanye's transition in what he does on the daily has been fascinating over the years. He does a lot of shit that embellishes his genius, and an equal amount of shit that leads me to believe he should be put in a mental treatment facility. While I usually don't give celebrities a second of the day, Kanye and Lil' Wayne dominated my childhood growing up, and are my two favorite hip-hop artists of all time.
The College Dropout was released when I was thirteen, just getting into hip-hop. I didn't become an avid listener until high school, but I do remember Graduation dropping on 9/11 of my senior year, 2007. I had listened to College Dropout front-to-back as well as Late Registration, but Graduation was the one that really took me over the top with my love for Kanye. That was such a good era, I remember Tha Carter III by Wayne coming out in '08, which I personally believe is the greatest album of the 21st century so far (albeit not my personal favorite).
Just seems funny how if you asked me back then if I'd imagine that Kanye would be wearing a WLM shirt today I probably would have either told you to get out of town, or I would have 100% believed it. He's always been known for his less-than-orthodox methods, but recently it just seems like the man is doing whatever the fuck he wants in life. I don't really have an opinion one way or another, but I will maintain the fact that he & Wayne are my favorite hip-hop artists of all time, and I'm interested to see how they keep going.
Remember when he said, "Bush doesn't care about Black people." on national TV? Kanye never gave af, he just has more money and power now.
Oh, I watched that video the day after it came out. I've never doubted that he hasn't given a fuck about what he says, I just think it's interesting to watch which battles he picks to air in the public spotlight, and the timing. I'm sure his brain could give neurologists a hard-on if they were to study it someday.
That's what happens when you're surrounded by yes men who hype up everything you say no matter how unhinged it sounds because they're desperate to stay in your circle. It's been quite sad watching his slow decline over the last decade or so. Great producer + rapper but it's clear he had some mental issues that were brought to the surface after his mother dying and now his circle seem to be fine with just letting him do/say this type of shit without any consequences at all. I'm sure you've seen the various scenes in that netflix doc where people are just sitting in a group enabling his manic rants and hyping up what he's saying as gospel. Truly sad stuff.
Yep, it is truly sad. He's a brilliant man in many capacities, but everyone can agree that his deranged Instagram posts are not only doing himself harm, yet the millions of people who follow him. Hope he gets the help that he needs, I'm just fortunate that he gave me the ability to truly test my speaker's limits whenever The Life of Pablo comes on.
as a rapper he sucks, but is great at singing more generally. Tbh he should have stayed just producing which he's amazing at and the world would have been better for it.
There are so many countless great hip-hop artists who aren't hypocrites that I'm sure it won't be too hard to move on.
If black lives matter is a scam, why is white lives matter not one? I have heard the news about BLM founders buying mansions and all but "white lives matter" was created by Neo-Nazis in Texas.
Are you Drumpfy???
Yes, he is. With this account he seems to have embraced the caricature.
Yeah he's Drumpfy, multiple people have called him out
To anyone that doesn’t know, “goyim” means someone who isn’t Jewish, a gentile. This guy is calling me “goyim cattle”, which I guess means people who blindly follow the Jewish conspiracy he believes in. He also called black people “pavement apes” in another recent post.
Patrick: instead of banning all political discussions, can we just get rid of people like this who are trying to turn this website into another Stormfront?
Edit: the comment was removed, I was not responding to Isiah.
The BLM founders are not even black.
I guess you could say that white lives matter is a scam too because its biggest promoter is a black man.
BLM was founded by Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi, all of whom are black. At least that’s what their website says.
Kanye West may actually be the most based human being alive. He just don't give a fuck.
We should probably just get this out of the way before further discussion resumes (given Kanye's recent comments on Jared Kushner, religion, and Israel).
Kanye West did not kill himself.
Anyways, he seems to have found Christ and I'm happy for him in that regard.
tbh I really liked the gospel album a lot
