Family is leeching

Not going to go into detail, have experienced some abuse from my family (mental & physical) over the years. Things got better when I went to a target school and ended up working in finance and being the bank of my family. Various signifanct purchases starting with supporting in downpayment of my sister ands smaller things such as jewelery, electronics, clothing etc.

It's coming to a point where i live in a shared shithole and buy my stuff from e.g. Fruit of the loom to finance a LV bag for my mom and my sister.

My Dad recommended me to cut off contact with my whole family since this behavior will not change. Will most likely stick with it especially since my dad is going to die pretty soon I guess. Will cut off all ties and never speak a word with them again when this happens.

Sorry just needed to rant

I would seriously urge you to get a therapist to work through some of these things. Based on your post, there is certainly some unresolved mental "stuff" going on in your life. Think of it as a resource that will give you a professional, unbiased opinion - sometimes all you need is someone on the outside to validate or sanity check your thoughts and feelings.

No contact (or low contact) is a fair approach given what you have outlined. Remember that "no" is a complete sentence - don't try to justify a denial.
