hehe someone got to exploit bankers' money and lack of social life and fashionistas need to replenish their closets.

Do what you want not what you can!

Hilarious, I saw this a couple days back and almost posted it here.

For those that haven't watched the video in OP's link, I definitely recommend it! There are some real AJ "Models and Bottles" types in the video.

@Cartwright, they said they stopped posting that sort of data because it was shamelessly obvious what that data was used for. Fucking excellent link though! It gives the entire event a completely different image, I can just imagine all the Junior-level people and back-office employees all masquerading as the Wall Street elite now...

So its poor materialistic gold digging girls and tons of men who lie about their salary and job title, wow sign me up.

For the men of finance, one question seemed to hang over this year’s event: has the stigma of the financial crisis hurt bankers looking for girls?

“Not at all,” said one 27-year-old equities trader, who declined to give his name so as not to associate himself or his firm with Fashion Meets Finance. “Most of these girls don’t even know what happened in 2008. It’s like, oh, subprime mortgages? They just nod their heads.”

West Coast rainmakerThese girls couldn't be gold diggers, could they? I mean, they just want a guy who can keep up with the demanding schedule of a girlfriend in fashion, right?

Why didn't I think of that?

The thing about the fashion industry (or at least what I have heard) is that it is an industry that sells and promotes a lifestyle that 99% of people in the fashion industry can't afford. Most people make really really crap money, and these girls are pretty desperate to hang around in the world they create and sell so they look for desperate finance guys who want a trophy wife.

The funniest part of this whole thing is legitimately gorgeous women who work in fashion are not looking for wage slave bankers. They are looking for guys who don't have jobs. Or work strictly by choice. Conversely, legit finance guys with solid game don't need to attend these events, unless it's to take down easy prey.

If this was HS it would be called "Chess Meets Cheerleading...you all know the turnout would be very poor.

More like guys who would do chess but who are too busy studying meet girls who would be cheerleaders but are too busy being promiscuous.

It sounds like this guy is walking chicks through his resume...lol.
