Feature Documentary - could you represent your industry on the big screen?

Feature Documentary – Could you represent your industry on the big screen? (not in a Wolf of Wall Street kinda way!)

We are making a film which aims to put together a human portrait of the economy. It is for cinema and will be released in 2015. We are looking at how trends in the economy are impacting on people’s lives and jobs.

Obviously when looking at the economy you can’t ignore the people at its heart.

We want your unique perspective on an industry that is continually misrepresented, demonised and misunderstood. What you do may seem straight forward and un news worthy to you but to most outsiders its secretive, confusing and fascinating.

For the first time ever we want to put that into documentary film in the most real and contemporary way – can you help?

We would love to profile someone working in finance now. This could be brokerage, hedge funds, investment banking, analyst work, prop trading, consulting. We are looking to gain insights into what attributes you need to work in your realm, how you got there and what is stimulating and challenging about your profession. Perhaps you've been there years or maybe you are a new recruit or actually about to leave - we want to hear from you.

In March we will be in NYC - if you can help, think you may be good on camera, are open to sharing your expertise and want to be involved in a great project please get in contact for more information.
There is no need to identify your company if that’s a problem, but we are interested in spending a few days with you over the course of a month.
