Finance paths that have dwindled over the past 10 years

Looking for finance paths that are non-existent or much smaller than they once were.  Going to have a look at old WSO threads of people that followed these paths and try find out where they are now, to test the survivorship bias of WSO advice. One I can think of is cash equity trading.
Changes over the past decade that could have affected these tracks:

  • Regulation
  • Automation
  • Risk appetite
