Fred Thompson for President 2008
Some of you may know him as the old and wise D.A. from the Law and Order series. He is also thinking about running for President. What do you all think?
he hasn't be in politics for how long? What are his issues? What does he stand for?
This isn't a small race like the one in California where Arnold won, for a presidential race, I would want someone who is actually active in politics

-former Republican Senator from Tennessee
-He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations
-former member of the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission
-Visiting Fellow with the American Enterprise Institute, researching national security and intelligence.
-public speaker with the Washington Speakers Bureau

I thought this guy looked familiar, wasn't he in the movie "Clear and Present Danger" too ?
Law and Order,,, that's the big one. He's the disgruntled D.A. who always looks like he's headed out after a long day to a whisky bar.
