Haha. I swear I'm not black...not that there's anything wrong with that!! LOL.

I sucked up a lot of the 'black culture' when I was stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA. I became the token white guy at all the family bbqs, etc. In fact, this is weird, but people would regularly ask me if I was black or mulatto or red bone. I'm not entirely sure why, maybe it was the sweet tan I always had. One of the 'lunch ladies' in the chow hall randomly asked me one day and I told her I wasn't mixed, but asked her why see asked. She said because of my skin tone and because I had nappy hair. I thought it was rather amusing. Another time I was out with a bunch of people eating some food after getting out of the club and this exact topic came up. One of the girls with us didn't believe my roommate when he was telling her how people ask me this all the time, everywhere we go. Like two minutes later a guy at a nearby table (predominantly black) says 'hey'...we make eye contact and I say 'yeah?' and he goes, "Are you black?". My whole table just busted out laughing. It was epic timing.

As far as the movie is concerned, it was super funny. It also helped that I was the only white guy in the theater I watched it at (in Atlanta). The movie was funny itself, but the commentary that came from the audience (sorry for the stereotype, but it was 100% accurate this time around)...so maybe I enjoyed it more than others might, lol.
