You were probably taking on insane amount of risk to get those kinds of returns. For example, you can speculate heavily with short-term out of the money options and open 10 accounts, in 6 months 9 will be bankrupt and the other will be up 10x. These paper trading accounts are worthless for track record precisely because of that reason. Paper trading is for yourself only, no real professional would ever be impressed by a paper trading account...
That's a pretty good point... I'm lookin into startin my own paper trading thing once I know ANYTHING about this stuff, but I wouldn't expect to be able to replicate my results with real money
