Gaming

Hey everyone,

I would like to do something for fun besides my sport hobbies. I want to play some interesting games, so I decided to pick up some Shooters (CSGO) and Diablo. I personally like to improve my skills and competitive games but I was kinda bored. It was fun but I’m disappointed.

So, do you play video games? What do you think about playing video games? What did I do wrong? Any recommendations?

I play fps pretty seriously. If you really want to enjoy fps on pc, I would recommend a high refresh rate monitor and better peripherals (But if you aren't already enjoying it there's no point)

As someone who previously put 1000's of hours into Dota during uni, I cannot recommend those sort of games because the learning curve is just so big, you will only start to properly 'play' after investing hundreds of hours. And to stay on top of meta shifts, one game a day isn't enough.

Fortnite and Call of Duty mobile. Another one is Combat Master which you can play offline and comes with customized mods.

I personally play a lot of strategy games. Turn based, RTS, Grand strategy, etc. If you're interested in those games I would recommend the civilization franchise, some of the paradox interactive games, Age of Empires and there are plenty more.

Not for everyone, and depending on your interests might not be the best option. But if you like history and strategy aspects I would say they are really fun games.
