Got groomed (not in a good way) as a summer intern
Over this past summer I believe I was getting groomed by an MD at a EB(CVP, EVR, MOE, PJT, etc.). Early on in my internship, an MD really took me under his wing and was always there to answer any questions I had. However, towards the end of the internship the relationship began to take a turn and was treated like an undercover informant in my analyst class. I was getting verbally abused when I didn't provide "useful" information about others in the pen with me. Felt like DiCaprio from The Departed. Accepted my return but am fearful... Advice?
If I were you, I would be thrilled to be chosen by my MD as an undercover. Work in silence and snitch on everyone else in your analyst class. Will be worth the easy top bucket
