Gunnar Optiks

Does anybody have any experience with Gunnar Optiks? Don't ask me why it's spelled like that. I think it's retarded, too...

These look like they will help for the bankers stuck staring at a computer screen for hours on end. I have sensitive eyes and they get strained after looking at a screen for a long period of time, so I was looking to get a pair of these for personal use. Thoughts? Will they make you look like a tool in the office? I guess the million-dollar question is do they actually work? There are some conflicting reports on the web, so I'd rather get some first-hand accounts from you guys if I can.

OK to start with - yes, they will make you look like a huge tool at the office. Now that we're past that, I've also been curious about Gunnar Optiks. My eyes get really dry after staring at excel for hours, so any relief is more than welcome. I wouldnt wear them at the office during business hours, but might entertain it if I'm having a late night and nobody else is around...

Sweet. The frames don't look too bad. It's just the color of the lenses that are really off-putting, but apparently, they work, so I might just give these a try.

Imagine if someone wore the aviator-style ones during work...
