You would be surprised how many people are hungover at work on a regular basis. Just look like you're keeping it together.
I'm unwell. Have an SB.
Start a blog about your debaucherous behaviors to feel better about said behaviors.
Pull trig in the lobby of a nearby building. There's a building near my office that I absolutely fucking punish.
pull trig?
Stick a finger or two down your throat to make yourself throw up.
Amazing
Take a freezing cold shower
Pedialyte before you start drinking. Thank me later.
After, too.
A few tips - Make sure you drink at least a liter of water before you go to bed. - Pull Trig - Tumbs - Pedialyte
Nuun energy tablets are better than Pedialyte
Never heard of those.
Realistically, the best trick is to not stop drinking
https://www.amazon.com/Thrive-Electrolyte-Prevention-Rehydration-Drink-…</a">This stuff from Shark Tank 100% works if you drink a scoop before bed and another in the morning, especially if you mix it with some pre-workout, but it's laughably overpriced and they just reduced the amount you get as well. So, it depends on how much you value curing that hangover.
Shark Tank coming in clutch
-Water when you remember during the night. Worst case, just chug some down before you leave the bar/restaurant -Electrolyte (Pedialyte in US?) before and after bed -Chug some water before sleeping -2x Nurofen when wake up -Beer in the morning
If you are still not at least 60% functional after this, it must have been a pretty rough night and not one that you should probably have if it’s not a Friday/Saturday
P.S - I assume having some vodka throughout the day might help out but I haven’t really gone to these lengths yet as that might make me feel like I’m a straight up alcoholic
Couple tips from a daily drinker:
I think I hit true adulthood when I showed up to work drunk once and no one noticed.
Keep fighting the good fight studmonkey
Leave a water bottle on your bed before you leave for the night and then you'll remember to chug water when you get home.
Pedialyte? Showers? Water before bed?
Come on son, this is a wall street message board.

Done.
ibuprofen, paracetamol some type of pain killer just before you go sleep with a glass of water you wake up with out a headache keep taking those throughout the day. Dont make sudden movements you might throw up. You might start sweating more than usual walking to the building. Your hands might be shaking that is because you need more to drink. Less is more on these days
Two large glasses of water before you knock out for the night - game changer the next morning
anyone every tried NAC before drinking?
Phwoar, depends how technical you want to go...
Before drinking, sup down a tablespoon of olive oil (or any other food-grade oil, to be honest) and follow that with a chaser of honey. The sugars in the honey help better break down the alcohol you're about to smash into your face for the next 3-6hrs, while the oil creates a modest barrier in your stomach that slows the alcohol's rate of absorption.
After drinking (and preferably at regular junctures during), have yourself some healthy glasses of water. Especially at the end of the night, two large pints of that clear liquid will make a world of difference the next morning. Suggest you also keep one by your bed in the event you 'rouse during the night with a dry mouth. I'd also take the time to make yourself a sandwich / grab a slice of pizza on the way home. The bread will give your stomach something other than alcohol to work on, while the grease in the pizza will have a similar effect to the olive oil described earlier.
In the morning (and possibly the night before if you're feeling brave), have a protein shake. The protein better breaks down the alcohol left in your system than carbohydrate would and it means you can immediately fill your gut before you get into the office and have, presumably, your regular breakfast. Plus, after the amount of beer / sugary cocktails you've been consuming, who needs more carbs!?
Quality of sleep materially decreases after even just one drink, so I'd recommend some coffee or Diet Coke (stay away from Red Bull and the like) the next day - wean yourself off around 2:00pm to make sure you're not still buzzing by the time you do clamber back into bed so you can make at least a semi-decent effort at recovering a small portion of your sleep deficit.
Drink lots of water the day after and eat fruit. A personal go-to is ice tea (the Lipton's variety) - is sugary and contains some vitamins, but the real reason I drink it is because, for whatever reason, I find it easy to chug down and it takes the edge off my morning nausea. Do some exercise if you can: this can be a quick jog / swim - something to raise your heart rate and metabolism. Go for a steam afterwards. Take some adderall if you need the concentration capacity boost. Some evidence suggests paracetamol actually makes hangover symptoms worse, so I'd avoid - also puts another load on your liver, which isn't wise.
It only gets worse as you get older. Much much worse!
Nowadays if I have just two vodka sodas and stay out till midnight, I feel off the next day.
If I had 4, then I’d definitely feel hungover.
In college I used to be able to go out 3 nights a week and have 10 plus drinks a night and still feel fine the next day. Crazy how old and lame your body gets!
