This is a known reaction to drinking- it's totally normal and happens to a ton of people.
Yes. During an internship, I went out on a Friday night with a lot of the younger staff and got pretty hammered. Up to that point, I never had gotten that drunk. The feeling you described hit me the next morning and I stressed the fuck out about a lot of irrational/dramatic things; what if I said/did this, did I do something to jeopardize my return offer, etc.
