Harvard Club NYC Gym?
About to start FT about 8-10 short blocks away from the HCNY clubhouse. Has anyone tried the fitness center membership there before?
I’m mostly looking for a place with some free weights and clean showers to get a quick lift in before/after work, so the premium you pay for Equinox/Lifetime is unlikely to be worth it for me.
Main concern is if it’s crowded, if the equipment is good, and if it’s clean. Already paying for the clubhouse membership so it’s about $85 a month on margin.
changing room is old but clean. Same as the gym. There is a sauna.
Thanks! Any idea on crowd levels in the mornings and evenings?
nope - I used it as I am a reciprocal member so didn't go during rush hour.
You could have just titled this post “I went to Harvard”
I prefer to find more creative ways to say it, without saying it.
Kong.
The HC in Manhattan is serviceable. I would say the best part about it is the raquet sport courts that it has.
That’s my line of thought as well. Looking at 60-80 hour weeks, so an hour in the morning from 7-8 should be pretty manageable.
8 blocks is prety short distance in NYC as long as its not avenues. What I would look into is the HC on your walking route or is it past so you have to walk 16 blocks out of the way.
Flexing about going to Harvard while working in RE is huge smolpp energy lol
congrats on yale
