Has Anyone Read the Romance Novel, "Wall Street Titan"

As a self-published author, I did a lot of research on what other investment banking fiction novels were out there. It's a pretty short list, but in my research, I ran across "Wall Street Titan"  Never heard of this book...have never heard it even mentioned in passing... yet it has almost 1,400 reviews on Amazon...hell it's even a New York Times Best Seller!

So here's my question. Anyone on WSO with a finance background actually read this thing? And if not, can someone read it and report back to the rest of us?

A billionaire who wants a perfect wife...

At thirty-five, Marcus Carelli has it all: wealth, power, and the kind of looks that leave women breathless. A self-made billionaire, he heads one of the largest hedge funds on Wall Street and can take down major corporations with a single word. The only thing he’s missing? A wife who’d be as big of an achievement as the billions in his bank account.

A cat lady who needs a date…

Twenty-six-year-old bookstore clerk Emma Walsh has it on good authority that she’s a cat lady. She doesn’t necessarily agree with that assessment, but it’s hard to argue with the facts. Raggedy clothes covered with cat hair? Check. Last professional haircut? Over a year ago. Oh, and three cats in a tiny Brooklyn studio? Yep, she’s got those.

And yes, fine, she hasn’t had a date since… well, she can’t recall. But that part is fixable. Isn’t that what the dating sites are for?

A case of mistaken identity…

One high-end matchmaker, one dating app, one mix-up that changes everything... Opposites may attract, but can this last?

This shit sounds like the female version of the delivery guy getting seduced by the neighborhood MILF.  But the author did spend eight years on Wall Street.

+1 SB. Lol. Think this book might transcend fiction and be straight fantasy. Couldn't think of a less romantic profession in reality unless your significant other enjoys having your date interrupted by an urgent request from the MD to change the presentation color scheme to navy blue at 10 o'clock at night or having an endless number of holidays and vacations blown up by deal flow.

Is 95% of the book the significant other waiting around wondering when "Wall Street Titan" will get home?

So if 50 Shades was the fan-fic gone wild of Twilight, what series prompted this new airport magazine stand hit?

The poster formerly known as theAudiophile. Just turned up to 11, like the stereo.

Hahaha oh wow, wahmen really read this shit? A self-made billionaire on WS, at 35? At a hedge fund? In this day and age? Able to take down entire companies by himself? Did the writer do even 10 min of desktop research? LMAOing about eternal female L´s being taken here.

...and the Truth shall set you free
