He claims to work for JP Morgan but I can't find his name anywhere on Bloomberg and FINRA

There was this guy I went to college with that I've been trying to get ahold of.

His linkedin at the time said he got employment at JP Morgan in Asset Management. It's been 2 yrs now and his linkedin still says the same. Now I've been trying to find him again for something important (we used to work together on a little start up back in college) but he's no longer on FB so I took to Bloomberg and FINRA. Can't find his name ANYWHERE. Actually, just searching by his last name yields ZERO results in both Bloomberg and FINRA. Since FINRA keeps records for 10 years even after someone leaves the firm, that simply means for some reason he isn't listed.

What the hell is going on?

did you try emailing/calling your college/school? I'm sure there might be a directory there. I would suggest googleing his name, but that could produce 1000s of results depending on his name. good luck.
